Strategy thoughts

It is a challenge exactly define what strategy is. It undertakes various roles according to context. It has taken various forms starting from budgeting to planning to resource allocation to resource orchestration. Accordingly the performance outcomes of strategy also have taken various forms starting from profits to competitive advantage   and more recently strategy outcomes are linked with innovation and renewal.Some scholars say strategy is an organization wide inclusive activity.

Some uncertainty  between strategy and performance is both inevitable and frustrating while at the same time necessary and beneficial. In my opinion strategy , like a small drop creates a ripple effect of performance across firms and this effect resonates the whole  business landscape.....
